Type of contribution
All the communications (oral, oral s., poster) are in English.
The MAX POSTER (P) size is 80 cm (width) x 100 cm (length). The numbered list of posters will be reported in the final program available on the conference website.
For the ORAL (O) you will have 10 minutes (10 minutes for presentation + 2 minutes for the questions), while for the ORAL SLAM (OS) you will have 5 minutes (no questions).
What is ORAL SLAM?
SLAM is an engaging oral presentation that is thought to be delivered to non-experts in your field. AMYC-BIOMED is the unique multidisciplinary meeting where all sessions are composed by young researchers with different background. The goal of a SLAM is to provide the audience a comprehensive pack of information which contains context, theory, application, impact and anchor-points for researchers of different disciplines.All the experimental aspects like optimization studies should be avoided to make the SLAM less technical and more broad. The duration is limited to 5 minutes, no questions are allowed following the SLAM, but all discussions are encouraged within the meeting. The number of slides is limited to a single slide, an impressive slide which displays the major information for the audience, because SLAM is encouraging the speaker-audience interaction, this is not a short oral, this is a way to be impressive on those people working on other fields. Of course you can use animations if you prefer, but taking into account what SLAM means.
!!! VERY IMPORTANT INFO: At the moment of the registration all the participants are indicated to choose a type of contribution. The scientific committee will decide about this attribution, so the final type of contribution could differ from initial selection.

Società Chimica Italiana will award fellowships to the young member of divisions, in particular:

– Divisione Elettrochimica – 4 Fellowships
– Divisione Tecnologia Farmaceutica/SITELF – 4 Fellowships
– Sezione Lombardia – 3 Fellowships
Eligibility – You must be regularly a member of one of the divisions as the primary affiliation, or as in the case for Sezione Lombardia, you need to be associated to that region.
How to apply
- For Divisione Chimica Analitica, you must follow the indication/form from the SCI website (https://www.societachimica.it/divisioni/analitica/borse_amyc-biomed_2026)
- For ALL the other Divisions and Sezione Lombardia, you need to send CV, abstract and receipt of payment to amycbiomed@gmail.com using as the object of the email “Divisione/Sezione XXX_Fellowship_Surname Name“
Deadline
- For Divisione Chimica Analitica, deadline is 30 June 2026
- For ALL other Divisions and Sezione Lombardia, deadline is 20 July 2026
Awards
Each category will be awarded with 2 awards (to be defined) for best (oral, oral s., poster) and, depending on the quality of contribution, also a special mention will be assigned for all the categories.
Social activity and dinner
Social activity: Guided Tour in Milan (first day of meeting, 5th October 2026) to be payed during registration
Social dinner: Ristorante “Mosso” https://mosso.org (second day of the meeting, 6th October 2026) to be payed at the restaurant
